The Role:

As a “Future CTO” at Turbostart, you'll be part of a unique cadre of tech visionaries tasked with the mandate to guide, grow, and galvanize the technological foundations of the startups we support. You are not just joining a team; you are stepping onto a fast-moving platform where your knowledge, insights and hands on ability will help startups leap off the drawing board and into reality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical teams through the fast-paced development cycles that typify startup environments.
• Architect scalable and robust technology solutions across a spectrum of tech stacks and industries.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and proactive problem-solving.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
• Stay ahead of the curve with emerging technologies and practices, ensuring Turbostart and its startups leverage cutting-edge advantages.
• Engage closely with the entrepreneurial community, providing mentorship and guidance to budding tech entrepreneurs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on the technological promise that Turbostart stands for.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is advantageous.
• 15+ years of demonstrable experience in software development, technology architecture, and project management.
• Proficiency in a variety of programming languages and frameworks. Please list your specializations.
• A visionary mindset with a knack for identifying tech trends that will define the future of industries.
• Ability to lead teams coupled with strong communication skills
• An entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in dynamic, changing environments and is comfortable with ambiguity.
• Experience in startup environments is highly desirable, showcasing an ability to scale technology alongside business growth.

Technical Skills & Proficiencies:

(While your expertise and execution capability may be in few, a base level of understanding other technologies and their applications is critical)

• Mastery in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React.js, and back-end frameworks like Node.js.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Salesforce platform development.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and web services (REST, SOAP).
• Understanding of DevOps principles and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
