Job Description: Project Coordinator/Planning Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in site planning, estimation, and billing, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Planning & Coordination:
o Develop and manage project schedules.
o Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
o Monitor site progress and report deviations.
2. Design & Documentation:
o Create and review drawings using AutoCAD.
o Maintain project records, documentation, and reports.
3. Estimation & Billing:
o Prepare project cost estimates and material requirements.
o Verify and process contractor and vendor bills.
o Track project expenses and ensure budget adherence.
4. Software & Reporting:
o Utilize MS Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
o Generate and present reports on project progress and financials.
5. Compliance & Quality Control:
o Ensure all project activities comply with safety and quality standards.
o Address site-related issues and suggest improvements.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in project coordination, estimation, and billing is preferred.
