Job Overview

Trident Dispatch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heat Treatment Engineer to join our team. As a Heat Treatment Engineer, you will be responsible for performing heat treatment processes on various materials used in manufacturing. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in heat treatment engineering. The job location is Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. This is a full-time role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in heat treatment engineering
• Strong knowledge of heat treatment principles and processes
• Experience in heat treatment of metals and alloys
• Familiarity with foundry and casting processes
• Knowledge of post-weld heat treatment (PWHT)
• Ability to design heat treatment processes to achieve desired material properties
• Understanding of materials specifications and requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform heat treatment processes on various materials used in manufacturing, such as metals and alloys
• Design heat treatment processes to achieve desired material properties
• Operate and maintain heat treatment equipment
• Monitor and control heat treatment parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and time
• Perform quality control tests and inspections on heat treated materials
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems during the heat treatment process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production and engineering, to ensure efficient heat treatment operations
• Maintain documentation and records of heat treatment processes and results
