Job Overview

Trident Dispatch is seeking a talented Fabrication Engineer to join our team. As a Fabrication Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process of metal components, ensuring quality and accuracy. This is a full-time position based in Siliguri, West Bengal, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in fabrication engineering
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
• Knowledge of materials specification and selection
• Experience operating flame cutting and welding equipment
• Ability to prepare metal components for fabrication
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
• Excellent coordination and communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the fabrication process of metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Select and procure appropriate materials for fabrication
• Operate flame cutting and welding equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and guidelines
• Conduct quality checks on fabricated components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project deadlines
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of fabrication activities
