Qualifications and Skills

• Customs Documentation (Mandatory skill): Deep understanding and experience in managing import/export customs paperwork efficiently.
• Export Compliance (Mandatory skill): Strong knowledge in maintaining adherence to international trade regulations and compliance standards.
• Freight Forwarding: Proven experience in coordinating and managing international shipments and cargo services.
• Shipping Logistics: Ability to oversee logistics operations ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Cargo Management: Skilled in handling and managing cargo operations efficiently to prevent delays and damages.
• Incoterms 2020: Proficient in applying current international commercial terms to global shipping and freight processes.
• Ocean Freight Pricing: Expertise in evaluating and negotiating viable pricing strategies for ocean freight services.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Capacity to manage and streamline supply chain activities ensuring seamless movement of goods.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all ocean export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
• Ensure accurate documentation and processing of export shipments, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to develop and maintain optimal shipping routes for client requirements.
• Monitor and optimize ocean freight pricing strategies to enhance cost-efficiency and service quality.
• Liaise with customs officials and clients to facilitate timely and efficient movement of goods through international frontiers.
• Implement Incoterms 2020 effectively in shipping contracts and negotiations to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
• Maintain relationships with clients ensuring high levels of satisfaction and addressing issues proactively.
• Analyze and report on logistics performance indicators to senior management, recommending improvements as necessary.
