Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team in developing a cutting-edge multivendor e-commerce website using Aimeos. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the software components that power our e-commerce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of a feature-rich and scalable solution.

Responsibilities:

1. System Design and Architecture:

• Collaborate with the architecture team to design scalable and maintainable software architecture for the multivendor e-commerce platform.
• Utilize Aimeos to implement robust and efficient solutions for various e-commerce functionalities.

2. Development:

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in PHP and other relevant languages.
• Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes related to the multivendor e-commerce website.

3. Integration:

• Integrate Aimeos components seamlessly into the overall system.
• Work with third-party APIs and services for payment gateways, shipping, and other e-commerce-related functionalities.

4. Collaboration:

• Collaborate with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.

5.Testing:

• Develop and execute unit tests to validate the correctness and reliability of code.
• Work with quality assurance teams to perform integration and system testing.

6.Performance Optimization:

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the software.
• Optimize code and queries to enhance the overall performance of the e-commerce platform.

7. Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
• Provide documentation for fellow developers and support teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on web development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and familiarity with Aimeos.
• Experience with multivendor e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
• Knowledge of web security best practices.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles
