Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Specialist to join our team in Jaipur. This is a mid-level, full-time position requiring 7 to 10 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities and ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing operations. The role demands expertise in procurement analytics and purchase order management.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven expertise in procurement analytics to effectively analyze and interpret purchasing data (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in purchase order management, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment of procurement orders (Mandatory skill).
  • Solid skills in supplier relationship management to maintain and enhance vendor partnerships and ensure effective communication.
  • Practical experience in strategic sourcing for cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP systems to streamline purchasing operations and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
  • Competence in contract negotiation, enabling effective agreements that ensure favorable terms and compliance with legal standards.
  • Strong cost analysis skills to assess financial implications of procurement decisions and identify potential efficiencies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and efficient management of procurement documentation.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement operations, ensuring timely and cost-efficient acquisition of required goods and services for the organization.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives to enhance overall purchasing efficiency.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to guarantee reliability and quality in the supply chain.
  • Manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in terms, conditions, and timely processing and fulfillment of all procurement activities.
  • Conduct cost analysis to determine and realize potential savings and efficiency improvements across the procurement process.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance department to ensure alignment of procurement activities with budgetary constraints and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, focusing on securing favorable terms and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Utilize SAP ERP systems to manage procurement records, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility across related functions.
