Requirements:

• * 5+ years of experience in e-commerce development, with at least 3+ years on BigCommerce.
• * Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
• * Experience with BigCommerce Stencil framework and Handlebars templating.
• * Knowledge of GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• * Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Python.
• * Experience with version control systems like Git.
• * Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization.
• * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• * Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Job Summary:
• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BigCommerce Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing e-commerce solutions on the BigCommerce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to create seamless and high-performing online shopping experiences.

• * Develop, customize, and maintain e-commerce websites using BigCommerce.
• * Implement custom themes, templates, and plugins to enhance user experience.
• * Work with RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and other integrations to extend BigCommerce functionality.
• * Optimize site performance and scalability for high traffic volumes.
• * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth platform performance.
• * Collaborate with the design and product teams to deliver user-centric solutions.
• * Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• * Manage and execute platform migrations, upgrades, and new feature rollouts.
• * Stay up to date with the latest e-commerce trends and BigCommerce updates.

• Preferred Skills:
• * Experience with React.js or Vue.js for frontend development.
• * Familiarity with headless commerce architecture.
• * Experience working with third-party tools and integrations such as Klaviyo, Google Analytics, or Salesforce.
