Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SDET 3 (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team in Bangalore. This is a full-time, mid-level position, suited for professionals with 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing and expanding our test automation initiatives, ensuring the reliability and quality of innovative talent solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Selenium (Mandatory skill) with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications.
• API Testing (Mandatory skill) with proven track record of automating, validating, and verifying RESTful and SOAP web services in production-like environments.
• TestNG (Mandatory skill) expert in designing structured test cases and frameworks, integrating with CI/CD pipelines for effective test execution and reporting.
• Test Automation experience in optimizing automation frameworks, writing reusable scripts, and ensuring coverage across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Strong SQL abilities to write and optimize queries for test data preparation, validation, and troubleshooting across complex database schemas.
• Performance Testing skills in designing, executing, and analyzing performance and load tests to ensure system scalability, reliability, and stability.
• Ability to analyze functional and technical requirements to derive comprehensive test scenarios and achieve high test coverage with a focus on edge cases.
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills, with the ability to investigate failures, root causes, and propose solutions in test environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium and TestNG for UI and functional testing of web applications.
• Lead API testing efforts for both internal and customer-facing services, ensuring complete coverage of critical business workflows and integrations.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test cases for regression, smoke, integration, and performance testing across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other engineers to review requirements, identify testable scenarios, and define acceptance criteria.
• Utilize SQL for data validation, test data setup, and troubleshooting data-related issues as part of the testing lifecycle.
• Conduct performance and load testing to benchmark application responsiveness and identify bottlenecks.
• Report, track, and prioritize defects in coordination with the development team, ensuring issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes, best practices, and automation tools adoption within the quality engineering team.
