Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SDET 2 for our location in the Pune Division. This is a full-time, mid-level position for professionals with 6-10 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of our technology solutions by developing and implementing effective testing processes. This position is integral to ensuring software quality by testing through various phases of development.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Selenium (Mandatory skill) for automating web applications, ensuring robust and efficient execution of test cases.
• Strong command over Java programming language, crucial for developing and maintaining sophisticated automated test scripts.
• Experience with TestNG to design and execute test suites, providing effective test paradigms using annotations and data-driven testing capabilities.
• Familiarity with Cucumber to implement Behavior Driven Development for streamlined and understandable automated test scenarios.
• Expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts to automate the software delivery process effectively.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins to streamline build processes and manage execution of automated tests across various platforms.
• Strong capability in API Testing ensuring back-end components are working correctly and effectively integrating with other systems.
• Knowledge in Git version control system, essential for maintaining application versions and collaborating with development teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test cases using Selenium, ensuring maximum test coverage and effective bug discovery.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand product vision, design testing strategies and enhance software quality.
• Utilize Java, TestNG, and CI/CD tools to create, maintain, and execute a robust suite of automated tests.
• Engage in API Testing to validate system integration and communication among different software components effectively.
• Implement continuous improvements in testing processes using Jenkins and other DevOps tools for efficient build and release cycles.
• Identify, record, and track bugs from identification to resolution, ensuring thorough documentation and effective communication with developers.
• Work closely with QA lead to proactively review processes and test coverage to address and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality metrics are captured for each release, providing meaningful insights into the test results for stakeholders.
