Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level SDET 2 to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The full-time role demands a professional with 1 to 3 years of work experience in software development and testing. The candidate must possess a strong technical background and have advanced testing skills to ensure the quality and functionality of our innovative HR Tech products.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Java programming for developing automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Experience with Selenium (Mandatory skill) to automate web applications, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and functionality.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with TestNG for designing robust and flexible test cases for our software solutions.
• Effective in API testing using Postman, enabling thorough validation of APIs and ensuring seamless application communication.
• Familiarity with Cucumber to facilitate behavior-driven development, bridging the gap between business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD for automating the testing pipeline, thereby streamlining the software development lifecycle.
• Understanding of REST Assured for testing RESTful web services, ensuring adherence to standards and reliable operations.
• Proficient with Git for code versioning, enabling collaborative development and efficient project management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to assure software quality and performance of our HR Tech products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into robust test cases.
• Conduct API testing and validate data flow between various systems using tools like Postman and REST Assured.
• Utilize Selenium for web application testing, identifying bugs, and ensuring reliable performance across all platforms.
• Integrate test scripts with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Perform thorough regression testing by identifying deficiencies and implementing back-end test solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, providing input on testing estimates and contributing to the sprint backlog planning.
• Document test plans and results, providing clear and accurate reports to stakeholders and management.
