Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drawing and Design Engineer specializing in Solar Structure Design. The ideal candidate must possess proficiency in AutoCAD and operational knowledge of PV Syst, with applicable experience in the solar energy field. You will be responsible for drafting and designing comprehensive solar structure plans, including Bill of Materials (BOM) and Balance of System (BOS).

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in drafting and design, with a strong preference for experience with PV solar systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is required.
• Must have knowledge of PV Syst software for energy simulation reports.
• Knowledge of building codes, solar system standards, and industry regulations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the solar energy or renewable energy sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design schematic drawings and single-line diagrams (SLDs) of solar PV systems and electrical networks.
• Size solar PV system components such as PV modules, PCUs/Inverters/Charge Controllers, transformers, batteries, and array junction boxes.
• Create and generate energy simulation reports utilizing PV SYST.
• Use STADD for Module Mounting Structure (MMS) design.
• Prepare scope of work, project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and budgets for projects.
• Develop feasibility study reports, project proposals, and detailed project reports (DPRs).
• Familiarity with weather, temperature, and irradiance sensors.
• Conduct module mounting structure designs with weight calculations.
• Ensure all designs meet industry standards and company quality requirements.
