About the Role

Technocrats Plasma Systems Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application & Sales Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Fiber Laser Cutting and Welding. The candidate will play a dual role – conducting live demonstrations for potential customers and providing technical solutions for quality-related issues in installed machines.

This role is crucial in bridging the gap between the technical team and the sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful business conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and demonstrate Fiber Laser Cutting and Welding Machines for prospective clients

Customize and optimize laser parameters for specific customer applications

Troubleshoot issues related to cut quality, weld consistency, penetration, spatter, or burn marks

Provide technical training and after-sales support to customers and their operators

Coordinate with the sales team to prepare and execute customer trials and application feasibility studies

Support marketing activities like exhibitions, product demos, customer visits, and webinars

Maintain records of trials, demos, feedback, and customer queries for continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills Required

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Production / Electrical / Laser Technology

2 to 5 years of experience specifically in Fiber Laser Cutting and/or Welding

Hands-on experience with laser power settings, focus adjustments, beam delivery, and gas settings

Familiarity with **fiber laser systems (1 kW to 6 kW+), CNC laser controllers, optics, and laser safety

Understanding of material-specific cutting/welding behaviors (SS, MS, Al, Cu, Brass)

Capability to interpret engineering drawings and recommend suitable cutting or welding parameters

Strong problem-solving and communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical clients

Willingness to travel across India for demos, installations, and support

Preferred but Not Mandatory

Knowledge of CAD/CAM, nesting software, or G-code basics

Experience with machine brands like IPG, Raycus, Max Photonics, Precitec, WSX, etc.

Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles
