Job Title: Laravel Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. You will work on developing high-quality software solutions, ensuring the best performance, security, and user experience. This role involves working closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Web Application Development:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Design and implement complex features and functions within Laravel-based applications
• Work on back-end logic, database design, and integration with front-end components

1. Database Design and Management:

• Design and optimize relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Work with Eloquent ORM to manage database queries and migrations
• Create and maintain database schemas and relationships

1. API Development:

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into Laravel applications
• Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and properly documented

1. Performance Optimization:

• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues (bugs, performance bottlenecks, etc.)
• Perform code reviews and refactor code to improve performance and maintainability

1. Security and Best Practices:

• Ensure the security and integrity of web applications and databases
• Implement user authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
• Follow best practices and coding standards in all aspects of development

1. Collaboration:

• Work with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, designers, and product managers
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous learning

1. Version Control:

• Use Git for version control and collaborate through GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
• Ensure smooth deployment processes and versioning of code

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Laravel Developer (2+ years)
• Strong knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, or React is a plus)
• Solid understanding of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Laravel's ecosystem (Laravel Mix, Horizon, Nova, Forge, Envoyer, etc.)
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
• Experience with Docker or other containerization tools
• Familiarity with front-end JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular)
• Understanding of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and automated testing frameworks
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools

Work Environment:

• Office-based or hybrid options depending on company policy
