Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Functional Testing professional for a mid-level position at our Chennai location. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and integrity of software products. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in functional testing within dynamic IT environments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience with Selenium (Mandatory skill) to conduct automated tests efficiently and effectively.
• In-depth understanding of Capital Markets (Mandatory skill) to test solutions accurately within this domain.
• Proficiency in using TestComplete for creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Advanced knowledge in Financial Analysis for evaluating financial data during testing processes.
• Experience in Agile methodologies for adaptive planning and evolutionary development in testing.
• Strong ability to write and execute SQL queries for data verification and troubleshooting in applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and report defects in software systems.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing for software applications to ensure they meet specified requirements.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data to support testing activities.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to understand project requirements and test needs.
• Analyze test results and log defects in issue tracking systems, providing clear documentation.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects in a timely manner.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy meetings to improve test coverage.
• Provide feedback on product quality and offer suggestions for improvement based on test insights.
• Stay updated with industry trends and new testing tools to enhance testing practices and efficiencies.
