Job Overview

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This is a full-time, mid-level position designed for professionals with up to 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and automation processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in using Java, Playwright, and Automation (Mandatory skill) for software testing purposes.
• Strong expertise in Selenium and its use in automated testing frameworks.
• Experience in leveraging gen ai tools for innovative testing solutions.
• Proven ability to conduct API Testing to validate the functionality and performance of services.
• Solid understanding and experience in Java automation to streamline testing efforts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex testing issues.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Java and Playwright to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to implementation and maintenance of test automation.
• Conduct in-depth testing of APIs and integrate into existing automation frameworks to enhance product quality.
• Utilize Selenium to perform regression testing and functional testing as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define testing objectives and criteria.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide detailed reports and feedback to development teams.
• Continuously enhance skills and knowledge on emerging tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and testing standards to deliver high-quality software products.
