Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Jewelry Merchandiser. The Jewelry Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the inventory, planning and executing merchandising strategies, and ensuring the profitability of our jewelry products. This is a full-time position located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, with an executive level requirement of more than 10 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• More than 10 years of experience in jewelry merchandising, preferably in a managerial or executive role.
• In-depth knowledge of jewelry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify market opportunities and challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with suppliers, sales team, and customers.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office suite.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and product presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to travel for trade shows and events as required.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the entire jewelry inventory, including selection, ordering.
• Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
• Analyze market trends and consumer demand to determine optimal product assortment.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide product knowledge and support for effective customer engagements.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and events to showcase our jewelry products.
• Stay updated with latest industry trends and competitors' activities to remain innovative and competitive.
• Provide regular reports and analysis on sales performance, inventory turnover, and market trends.
