Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Credit Analyst. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients, analyzing financial data, and making recommendations regarding credit limits and terms. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in credit analysis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in credit analysis or a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of financial statements and credit assessment techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Should have atleast 2+ years of experience in Business loans

Roles and Responsibilities

·        Evaluating the financial position of clients by reviewing data, including financial ratios, with a view to automating the process

·        A Credit Analyst would also be responsible for closing deals with lenders and borrowers. It would have sales approach of closing the deal including follow up for sanctions and then disbursal.

·        Analyzing clients’ credit data and financial statements, Bank statements in order to determine loan eligibility.

·        Review credit applications and perform credit checks.

·        Keeping credit files and clients’ information up to date by completing documentation, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining detailed records.

·        Checking of documents & follow up with borrowers for submission of documents.

·        Ensuring that documents are consistent and uphold the Lender’s standards.

·        Follow up and reviewing KYC documentation and identify efficient ways to acquire, test, and normalize data 

·        Check financial accuracy and perform key ratio analysis 

·        Interaction with borrowers for understanding their Debt requirement.

·        Interaction with lenders for understanding their in-detail policy parameters, qualifying the loan applications, following up on the applications in progress with a successful closure mindset.

·        Sales-driven approach for achieving higher sanctions & disbursement targets.
