Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic mid-level Sales Executive to join our team at Sturlite Electric Pvt Ltd. This full-time position is based in Kollam. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of field sales and channel sales within the lighting industry, and will be responsible for expanding our market presence and driving sales growth.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a sales executive or in a similar role within the lighting industry.
  • Deep familiarity with field sales, and effectively engaging potential clients. (Mandatory skill)
  • Proficiency in channel sales strategies with a track record of building successful distributor networks. (Mandatory skill)
  • Demonstrated success in generating primary sales through effective client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of secondary sales techniques to maintain and increase market share.
  • Experience in the fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG) sector, with the ability to adapt sales practices accordingly.
  • Capability to engage and negotiate with dealers and distributors to achieve sales targets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the lighting industry, trends, and competitive landscape. (Mandatory skill)


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase Sturlite's presence in the Kollam market.
  • Identify and target potential sales opportunities in the lighting sector, focusing on both field and channel sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new dealers and distributors.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to adapt sales tactics and remain competitive.
  • Drive primary and secondary sales, using persuasive strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine product positioning and promotional strategies.
  • Track sales performance and report regularly to the management team to discuss progress and suggest improvements.
