Job Description: Procurement & Supply Chain Executive (S/4HANA)

Location : Bangalore

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage our end-to-end P2P (Procure-to-Pay) cycle and supply chain planning within the GROW with SAP (S/4HANA Public Cloud) environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing complex stock transfers, managing demand planning, and ensuring seamless purchase order processing across internal and inter-company entities.


Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End P2P Cycle Management

  • Execute the full Procure-to-Pay process in S/4HANA, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Order (PO) creation, Goods Receipt (GR), and Invoice Verification (IV).

2. Stock Transfer & Logistics Operations

  • Manage complex stock movement scenarios within the SAP environment, ensuring correct movement types and documentation:
  • Intra-company Stock Transfers: Managing stock movement between plants within the same company code.
  • Inter-company Stock Transfers: Coordinating cross-company code movements, including the generation of Sales Orders from the supplying plant and Purchase Orders at the receiving plant.
  • Group of Company POs: Managing inter-company procurement for specialized requirements.
  • Monitor stock-in-transit and ensure timely reconciliation of goods movement.

3. Demand Planning & Execution

  • Analyze stock requirements and translate them into actionable procurement plans.
  • Utilize S/4HANA MRP (Material Requirements Planning) outputs to generate, review, and convert Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders based on demand signals.

4. System Proficiency & Reporting

  • Perform root-cause analysis on procurement data discrepancies.


KPIs and Performance Metrics

  • PO Processing Efficiency: Time taken from PR creation to PO release/transmission.
  • On-Time Delivery (OTD): Adherence to promised delivery dates versus actual receipt dates.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Variance between system stock (S/4HANA) and physical warehouse inventory.
  • Stock-out Frequency: Number of occurrences where demand could not be met due to stock unavailability.
  • MRP Compliance: Percentage of Purchase Requisitions generated directly through system MRP signals vs. manual creation.
  • Inter-company Reconciliation: Timely clearance of "Stock-in-Transit" accounts for inter-company STOs.
  • SAP S/4HANA Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is required.
