Consumer Durables, Electricals, FMCG, Manufacturing, Multi location Companies Role Overview Sturlite is scaling rapidly across SAP, GreyHR, Office 365, retail & electrician apps, solar CRM tools, and 31+ depots. We are looking for an IT Manager who can own and strengthen the entire IT infrastructure, security, and governance framework of the organisation. This role is responsible for infrastructure, security, networks, devices, access control, O365, CCTV, and integration readiness — ensuring every system runs smoothly, securely, and consistently across all locations. This is NOT a development, SAP configuration, or Salesforce workflow role. This is a core IT backbone leadership role designed to protect and scale Sturlite’s digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure & Network Management • Manage IT infrastructure across HO + 31 depots • Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, access points, LAN/WAN • Ensure internet uptime, redundancy & VPN for all depots • Oversee CCTV installation, monitoring, remote access & health checks • Maintain network security across all locations
2. Office 365 Administration & Central File Storage • Re-implement O365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange) for clean structure • Create a centralised file storage system with permission-based access • Enable MFA, DKIM, SPF, DMARC for email security • Manage email creation, distribution lists, shared mailboxes • Ensure data backup & retention policies
3. Active Directory & Access Governance • Implement and manage Active Directory across all devices and users • Standardise login IDs, password policies, and access rights • Ensure timely onboarding/offboarding (disable access immediately) • Control access to SAP, Cronberry, GreyHR, Dealer/Electrician Apps
4. IT Security & Compliance • Implement endpoint protection (antivirus/EDR) • Enforce policies on software installation, USB usage, data sharing • Conduct periodic security audits (network, devices, permissions) • Prepare disaster recovery & business continuity plan • Monitor cyber risks across cloud & on-prem systems
5. Hardware & Asset Management • Manage laptops, desktops, tabs, mobile devices • Standardise OS images & device configuration • Maintain accurate IT asset register • Oversee AMC & warranty cycles • Handle device repair, replacement & lifecycle planning
6. IT Support & Helpdesk • Set up and run a company-wide ticketing system • Provide L1/L2 remote & onsite support to HO & depots • Troubleshoot SAP connectivity, O365, printer, VPN, Wi-Fi issues • Train depot staff on basic IT SOPs • Maintain SLA-based issue resolution
7. Application & Integration Support (Non-Functional) • Work with SAP, GreyHR, Cronberry, Electrician App, Dealer App vendors • Ensure secure connectivity & API access • Evaluate integration platforms (MuleSoft / Boomi / Informatica) • Support the Digital Product Owner on infra-related dependencies • Ensure uptime and system availability
8. IT Policy & Governance Framework Draft and enforce: • Printer policy • System/laptop usage policy • Email & communication policy • Password & access control policy • Cybersecurity and data protection policy • Remote access/VPN policy • Backup & recovery policy Coordinate audits and ensure company-wide compliance.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills • Strong networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing, VPN, firewalls) • Experience managing Office 365 admin (SharePoint/Teams/Exchange Online) • Strong knowledge of Active Directory / Azure AD • Exposure to SAP connectivity, print servers, scanners, VPN setups • Understanding of cybersecurity tools (EDR, DLP, firewalls) • Experience handling CCTV, remote monitoring, NVR/DVR • Multi-location IT management experience is a must
Soft Skills • Strong ownership mindset • Excellent coordination & vendor management • Process-oriented, disciplined, and structured • Ability to work with Sales, HR, Finance, SAP teams • Strong troubleshooting ability • Clear communication & documentation skills
Education
• BE / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / Diploma in IT/CS
• Certifications preferred: o CCNA / CCNP o Microsoft 365 Admin o Azure Administrator o ITIL Foundation o Cybersecurity certifications (added advantage)
