Hi! We are Studio Carbon. The multi-disciplinary design studio that is realising better futures through design. Headquartered in India, we also have a base in The Netherlands, and are making huge international waves in the rest of Europe, USA and Africa. We work across a wide range of design disciplines, such as Industrial Design, Communication Design, UI/UX Design, Systems Design and Education Design, making us a powerhouse organisation for design-led change in the world.

We want a motion designer who can effectively translate ideas into animated tales. Who knows the difference between what works and what can be done better. You should have a firm grasp over design fundamentals and principles, yet the courage to break them when needed. We want someone who enjoys animating brands, creating micro-interactions for our digital products and breathtaking videos. Someone who can bring clarity and delight while achieving the product and user goals. Someone who enjoys the thrill of seeing through a design from a scribble to a final outcome. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with designers, users, and stakeholders to evaluate motion opportunities and deliver the final polish of our products using motion design.
• Work hand-in-hand with graphic designers to ensure feasibility and fidelity of implementation.
• Conduct client and user facing interviews, research and workshops.
• Apply research into concepts and prototype design interactions to connect with the audience.
• Making motion design assets for specific client work.
• Content creation for promoting studio’s brand across various media.
• Identify unique opportunities to bring client brands to life within the product, adhering to & expanding on established guidelines.
• Define, create, and improve the motion animation tools and processes that accelerate our design deliverables.
• Engage in ideation and brainstorm sessions for various studio projects.
• Self-led communication design work that benefits the studio.

Requirements:

• A strong online portfolio of latest relevant work.
• Formal education in Design.
• Creative idea generator with a problem-solving mindset.
• Solid understanding of animation principles and storytelling.
• Inspiring ability to create motion graphic interactions across sectors.
• Ability to receive and apply feedback to improve the end results.
• Friendly relations with Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro, Spline, Blender etc.
• Ability to push yourself above and beyond what is possible.
