Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Tekla Checker to join our team in Coimbatore. This full-time role requires a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of work experience in steel detailing and structural analysis. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using Tekla Structures and knowledgeable in AISC standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Tekla Structures for creating accurate and detailed structural drawings. (Mandatory skill)
• Experience in steel detailing, including the preparation and checking of shop drawings. (Mandatory skill)
• Familiarity with AISC standards for executing projects according to international guidelines. (Mandatory skill)
• Ability to conduct thorough structural analysis for various types of steel structures.
• Experience in project coordination, ensuring tasks are aligned with project timelines.
• Knowledge in 3D modeling to effectively visualize and communicate project elements.
• Capability to manage and assess steel structure designs for fabrication purposes.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in all detailing work.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review and check structural steel models and drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Ensure compliance with AISC standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate closely with modelers and detailers to resolve issues and ensure design accuracy.
• Prepare and oversee the development of shop drawings and erection schedules.
• Assist in project coordination and manage timelines to meet client requirements.
• Identify and communicate any discrepancies in design and detailing with the project team.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior detailers within the team.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide insights into structural solutions.
