Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Project Estimation at STRUZON TECHNOLOGIES. This is a full-time, mid-level position located in Coimbatore, requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will engage in cost estimation, quantity takeoff, and project planning, contributing to our client's success by delivering quality services effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have excellent skills in cost estimation to develop competitive pricing strategies (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in quantity takeoff for accurate assessment of materials and labor requirements (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and project planning (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in project planning to ensure timely and efficient completion of project tasks.
• Solid understanding of value engineering principles to optimize project resources and costs.
• Competency in bid preparation to compile and present compelling proposals for potential projects.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling to align tasks and resources effectively throughout project phases.
• Strong budgeting skills to monitor and manage project expenditures and financial performances.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for steel detailing and construction projects.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs to determine the exact requirements of materials and labor for projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align estimation with project plans and objectives.
• Develop and maintain project estimation tools and models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and analyze project proposals to ensure consistency with budget estimates and standards.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure competitive pricing and availability of materials.
• Identify and apply value engineering techniques to optimize project costs while maintaining quality.
• Prepare periodic reports on project performance related to budget and cost estimates for stakeholders.
