Job Overview

Senior Tekla Modeler with 4 to 6 years of experience in Structural Steel Detailing, based in Coimbatore. Full-Time position at STRUZON TECHNOLOGIES with a team of highly qualified engineers and detailers specializing in Structural Steel Detailing and Connection Design.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4-6 years of experience in Structural Steel Detailing and 3D modeling
• Proficiency in Tekla / SDS2 software
• Strong knowledge of the construction industry and related standards like AISC
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with project stakeholders
• Experience in BIM coordination and using Tekla for steel detailing projects

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create detailed Tekla models for structural projects in compliance with international standards like AISC, CISC, BS, IS code, and OSHA
• Collaborate with engineers and detailers to ensure accurate 3D modeling and BIM coordination
• Produce shop drawings and fabrication details for steel structures including stairs, ladders, and handrails
• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop accurate models
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design issues during the modeling process
