Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance professional to join our team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time position ideally suited for individuals with 1 to 3 years of experience in software quality assurance. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing methods, contributing to high-quality deliverables and an enriched digital experience for our clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience with JIRA (Mandatory skill), ensuring meticulous tracking and management of bugs and tasks.
• Proficiency in performance testing (Mandatory skill) to analyze system behavior under different conditions and optimize functionalities.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing (Mandatory skill), essential for verifying software functionalities against user requirements.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing techniques and tools such as Selenium, improving testing efficiency and coverage.
• Experience with TestRail for comprehensive test case and suite management, ensuring structured and traceable QA processes.
• Understanding of agile methodologies, which supports dynamic project management and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Proficiency in using SQL for validating data integrity and testing back-end interfaces.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to identify and report defects, ensuring effective resolution and product quality.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand and document software requirements for testing.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of applications.
• Identify, document, and track software bugs using JIRA, collaborating effectively with the development team for resolution.
• Perform regression testing to validate improvements and ensure stability of the system after updates or bug fixes.
• Execute performance testing routines to identify potential bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
• Assist in developing testing protocols and quality assurance standards, enhancing QA methodologies and practices.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives as part of the agile software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
