Job Title: Medical Coding Trainer

Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

Position Overview: We seek an experienced and knowledgeable Medical Coding Trainer to join our team in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in medical coding and a passion for teaching and mentoring others.

Responsibilities:

Conduct training sessions for medical coding students, both in classroom settings and online platforms.

Develop curriculum and training materials based on industry standards and best practices.

Provide individualized instruction and support to students to ensure comprehension and mastery of coding concepts.

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate learning and skill development.

Stay updated on changes and updates in medical coding guidelines, regulations, and industry trends.

Collaborate with other trainers and faculty members to enhance the overall training program.

Assist with student placement and job readiness preparation, including resume building and interview skills.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, medical billing and coding, or related field.

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a medical coder in a healthcare setting.

Proven experience in training and education, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding principles.

Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Prior experience working in a training institute or educational institution is preferred.

Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
