Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician for a full-time junior position based in Thane. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in handling point of care medical devices, handheld, and portable devices. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to high-quality medical device service and performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in medical device troubleshooting, a critical aspect of ensuring uninterrupted operation of healthcare machinery. (Mandatory skill)
- Competence in equipment calibration, which is essential for maintaining accurate and reliable medical device readings. (Mandatory skill)
- Knowledge of medical device network integration to ensure effective connectivity and data management across systems. (Mandatory skill)
- Experience with preventive maintenance to extend the life and efficiency of biomedical equipment and minimize downtime.
- Understanding of FDA regulatory compliance to ensure that all maintenance and equipment use adhere to required regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to produce detailed technical documentation that supports the maintenance and troubleshooting processes of medical devices.
- Familiarity with digital imaging systems and their operational requirements in a healthcare setting.
- Understanding of cardiac monitoring systems and their integration, supporting critical healthcare functions.
