Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced store manager to manage inventory, stock movement, and compliance in a pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of WHO & USFDA audit requirements and ensure that storage, handling, and documentation adhere to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain stock levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
  • Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) & FEFO (First-Expiry-First-Out) inventory principles
  • Ensure proper storage conditions as per pharma guidelines (temperature, humidity, etc.)
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation to avoid discrepancies

2. Regulatory Compliance & Audits

  • Ensure strict adherence to WHO, USFDA, GMP, and other regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain complete documentation and records required for audits (logbooks, stock registers, SOPs, etc.)
  • Support internal & external audits by preparing reports and compliance documents
  • Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for any observations from audits

3. Operations & Coordination

  • Supervise receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished products
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality control teams for smooth workflow
  • Ensure timely dispatch of materials with accurate documentation
  • Train store personnel on compliance, safety, and handling of materials

4. Safety & Security

  • Implement Good Storage Practices (GSP) and ensure safety measures in storage areas
  • Manage handling of hazardous/temperature-sensitive materials as per regulatory norms
  • Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and disposal of expired/damaged stock


Key Skills & Requirements

Experience: Minimum [X] years in a Pharma Formulation Manufacturing Industry

Knowledge of WHO, USFDA, GMP, and Regulatory Audits

✅ Strong experience in inventory management & stock control

✅ Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems for inventory tracking

✅ Hands-on experience with audit documentation & compliance reporting

✅ Excellent organizational & leadership skills

✅ Strong coordination with QA, production & procurement teams
