Senior Process Engineer (Chemical / Hydrocarbon / Petrochemical / Refinery / O&G)

Experience: 10–13 years

Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Chemical Engineering

This role involves designing and engineering world-class process plants while ensuring compliance with global standards, best engineering practices, and company specifications. Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Process Design & Engineering

• Develop and review process simulations (Aspen Plus, HYSYS, Unisim)
• Prepare Heat & Material Balance (H&MB), PFDs, UFDs, and P&IDs
• Create and review process equipment & instrument datasheets
• Conduct vendor technical bid evaluations and oversee technical documentation
• Develop utility package datasheets and review vendor submissions
• Participate in PHA, HAZOP, and other design & safety studies

🔹 Project Management & Coordination

• Lead multiple projects while ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Collaborate with clients, site engineers, and home office teams
• Define work processes to meet project requirements and deadlines
• Keep stakeholders informed of key project developments and decisions
• Implement effective change management for cost, schedule, and material impacts
• Perform peer reviews, quality control checks, and gate reviews

Proficiency in industry-leading process engineering tools, including:

✅ KORF, HTRI, FlareNet

✅ AFT Fathom / Arrow / Impulse, PipeNet
