Job Title: Rotary Engineer

Location: Mumbai

Job Description :

Good experience in design and detail engineering of process/non process Rotary Equipment and Packages, Knowledge of various International Standards, Review of Drawings and Documents Good working experience of American design codes. Good experience in Rotating Equipment such as pumps, Compressors and Packages, design, detailing, study & review of drawings

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintenance & Reliability: Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of rotary equipment.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for failures in rotating machinery.
• Design & Selection: Support in the design, specification, and selection of rotating equipment based on operational requirements.
• Installation & Commissioning: Supervise the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new rotary equipment.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze equipment performance to enhance reliability, efficiency, and lifespan.
• Vibration Analysis & Condition Monitoring: Use predictive maintenance techniques like vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis to detect potential failures.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure equipment adheres to industry standards such as API, ASME, and OSHA, and follow HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) regulations.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work with cross-functional teams, including operations and maintenance personnel, to improve asset reliability and prepare detailed reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in rotary equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or reliability engineering.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of pumps, turbines, compressors, and gear systems.
• Expertise in vibration analysis and condition monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards (API 610, API 618, API 619, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with laser alignment and balancing techniques.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as Vibration Analysis (ISO 18436), CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional), or API certifications are a plus.
• Experience in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or manufacturing.
