Job Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Scrub Nurse to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This full-time position requires 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. As a crucial team member, the Scrub Nurse will assist in a variety of surgical procedures within the operating room environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Surgical Instrumentation: Ability to handle and manage surgical tools and instruments effectively during procedures.
• Aseptic Technique (Mandatory skill): Expertise in maintaining a sterile environment to prevent infection during operations.
• Sterilization Procedures (Mandatory skill): Proficiency in sterilizing instruments and equipment before and after surgery.
• Operating Room Protocols (Mandatory skill): Knowledge of standard protocols to ensure seamless surgical operations.
• Patient Monitoring: Skilled in observing and assessing patients' vital signs and responses during surgery.
• Instrument Sterilization: Capability to ensure all surgical instruments meet sterilization standards before use.
• Surgical Assisting: Competence in supporting surgeons during operations by anticipating needs and providing help promptly.
• Emergency Response: Ability to act swiftly and effectively in emergency situations to ensure patient safety.

• Prepare and manage the surgical field by arranging instruments and maintaining sterility throughout the operation.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating surgical needs to facilitate smooth operations.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, comfort, and safety, taking appropriate action as required during surgeries.
• Sterilize and handle surgical instruments, ensuring they meet the necessary cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination during preoperative and postoperative phases.
• Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, instruments used, and patient information.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards for healthcare providers.
