Job Overview
The Orthopaedic Consultant (Junior Level) will join our multidisciplinary team in Bangalore to provide comprehensive patient care, handle orthopaedic cases, and support our clinical excellence. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates seeking to advance their career in a supportive, modern hospital environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in postoperative care for orthopaedic patients, including monitoring recovery and managing complications (Mandatory skill).
- Expertise in preoperative planning for orthopaedic surgeries, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and minimizing risks (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in conducting outpatient clinics, evaluating new and follow-up orthopaedic cases efficiently (Mandatory skill).
- Ability to manage inpatient orthopaedic cases, providing round-the-clock patient care with dedication and attention to detail.
- Competence in interpreting X-rays and related imaging accurately, essential for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Strong fracture management skills, from assessment to intervention and rehabilitation, following best practices.
- Experience working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, participating in discussions and contributing to integrated patient care.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring clarity and empathy throughout care.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with orthopaedic conditions in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.
- Plan and execute preoperative, operative, and postoperative care tailored to each patient's needs and medical history.
- Conduct comprehensive outpatient clinics, managing follow-up and new consultations for a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiologists, nurses, physiotherapists, and administrative staff, to provide holistic care.
- Interpret clinical findings, diagnostic tests, and imaging, formulating evidence-based treatment plans.
- Manage fracture cases efficiently, utilizing conservative and surgical management strategies as required.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality assurance initiatives, and continuous medical education sessions to uphold high standards.
- Provide patient education, ensure comprehensive documentation, and support hospital protocols to maintain quality and compliance standards.
