We are seeking an enthusiastic Interventional Cardiologist (Fresher) to join our dynamic medical team at our Bangalore facility. This is a full-time position ideal for candidates with zero to one year of experience, who are passionate about advancing cardiac health and patient outcomes within a tertiary care environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Cardiac Catheterization (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic catheter-based cardiac procedures in clinical settings.
• Angioplasty (Mandatory skill): Hands-on experience or training in performing percutaneous coronary interventions such as balloon angioplasty procedures.
• Echocardiography (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to conduct and interpret echocardiographic studies for comprehensive cardiac assessment.
• Critical Care: Exposure to managing acute cardiovascular emergencies in intensive care units, ensuring patient safety and high-quality critical care support.
• Coronary Imaging: Well-versed in the use of advanced coronary imaging modalities to support diagnostic accuracy and procedural guidance.
• Patient Counseling: Strong skills in communicating cardiac treatment plans and preventive measures, effectively educating and supporting patients and families.
• Team collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly across multidisciplinary teams including nurses, technicians, and administrative staff in a hospital setting.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn: Willingness to stay updated with evolving practices in interventional cardiology and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties, to deliver optimal patient care.
• Interpret results from echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging to guide clinical decision-making.
• Manage patients in critical care units, addressing cardiovascular emergencies promptly and efficiently.
• Participate in case discussions, multidisciplinary rounds, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in cardiac care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding cardiac conditions, procedures, and lifestyle modifications for disease prevention and management.
• Document patient medical histories, examination findings, and treatment plans with accuracy and thoroughness.
• Collaborate closely with nursing and support staff to ensure delivery of coordinated, holistic patient-centered care.
• Commit to ongoing education and training to refine clinical skills and stay abreast of advancements in interventional cardiology.
