Job Overview
The Information Technology Executive at Spandana Hospital will play a pivotal role in supporting and managing hospital IT systems to ensure seamless operations. This junior-level, full-time position based in Bangalore requires 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support and administration within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in IT support, providing onsite and remote troubleshooting to end-users across hospital departments (Mandatory skill).
- Hands-on experience with Windows Administration, managing operating system updates, user accounts, and security protocols (Mandatory skill).
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software technical issues efficiently within critical healthcare settings (Mandatory skill).
- Thorough understanding of network security protocols to safeguard patient and hospital data against breaches and unauthorized access.
- Experience with hardware setup, installation, and maintenance of computers, printers, and medical IT equipment.
- Efficient management of service desk operations, responding to IT queries and escalating complex issues where appropriate for prompt resolution.
- Vendor management skills, including liaising with third-party providers for procurement, support, and warranty claims.
- Strong familiarity with data backup solutions, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of hospital data at all times.

- Provide comprehensive IT support for hospital staff, addressing technical issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity.
- Administer user access, system updates, and Windows configurations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with hospital policies.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT problems quickly to minimize downtime in critical medical operations.
- Monitor and maintain hospital network security, adhering to best practices for data protection and confidentiality.
- Set up, install, and upgrade computing hardware as needed across various hospital departments.
- Manage the hospital's service desk by logging, tracking, and resolving IT-related requests efficiently.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely procurement, maintenance, and repair of IT equipment and software.
- Implement and monitor effective data backup procedures to ensure all system data can be restored in the event of an incident.
