We are seeking an experienced Female Fitness Trainer to join our dynamic healthcare team at Spandana Hospital in Bangalore. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The role involves designing individualized fitness programs, conducting group sessions, and supporting our commitment to patient health and well-being.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in personal training, demonstrating the ability to customize fitness regimens for diverse client needs (Mandatory skill).
- Strong proficiency in program design, ensuring tailored plans that consider client goals, abilities, and health status (Mandatory skill).
- Exceptional group fitness instruction skills for small and large classes, promoting motivation and safe exercise techniques (Mandatory skill).
- Proven expertise in initial and ongoing client assessment, utilizing professional methods to evaluate and monitor progress effectively.
- Thorough understanding and application of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) protocols to maximize client performance and results.
- Broad knowledge of strength training principles and practice, capable of guiding clients through efficient and safe workouts.
- Ability to educate on correct exercise form, injury prevention, and holistic fitness approaches to empower clients in their wellness journey.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills to foster positive client relationships and uphold professional standards.
- Capability to collaborate with healthcare professionals to tailor fitness plans for patients within a hospital environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design personalized fitness programs aligned with the individual health goals and medical considerations of hospital patients and clients.
- Conduct motivational one-on-one and group fitness training sessions, ensuring engagement, safety, and proper technique throughout.
- Assess client fitness levels, analyze performance data, and adjust programming to optimize outcomes and encourage consistent improvement.
- Demonstrate and instruct correct usage of gym equipment, emphasizing injury prevention and effective exercise execution.
- Lead group classes, including HIIT and strength training, adapting sessions to meet diverse skill and fitness levels.
- Work closely with medical professionals to integrate patient health plans into tailored fitness routines, ensuring holistic care.
- Monitor progress, provide actionable feedback and motivation, and update goals as necessary for sustained client development.
- Maintain up-to-date records of sessions, assessments, and client communications while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
