Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in CBT techniques, including cognitive restructuring and behavioral interventions (Mandatory skill)
- Strong active listening abilities to ensure clients feel heard, understood, and respected during therapy sessions (Mandatory skill)
- Proven experience conducting thorough client assessments to identify cognitive patterns and psychological needs (Mandatory skill)
- Ability to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that align with established therapeutic goals
- Experience in delivering psychoeducation, helping clients understand the principles of CBT and their relevance to recovery
- Skilled in motivational interviewing to engage clients in the therapeutic process and elicit positive behavioral changes
- Competence in progress monitoring to evaluate client outcomes, adapting interventions as necessary for maximum effectiveness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships with clients and multidisciplinary teams
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments utilizing structured interviews, standardized tools, and observation to determine treatment needs
- Design, plan, and implement individualized CBT interventions tailored to client diagnoses and presenting problems
- Deliver evidence-based psychoeducational sessions to clients and their families regarding therapy processes and mental health strategies
- Regularly monitor client progress through outcome measures, session feedback, and behavioral tracking
- Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and ethical guidelines
- Maintain strict client confidentiality and ensure adherence to professional standards of care and ethical codes
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including supervision, workshops, and relevant continued education activities
