Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Plant Operator to join our team at our facility in Ambernath. The Plant Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring chemical and fertilizer production processes, ensuring efficiency and safety according to company standards. This role requires a solid understanding of process control systems and equipment troubleshooting, working in shifts to maintain continuous operation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling plant operations (Mandatory skill).
• Strong ability in equipment troubleshooting, identifying faults, and implementing solutions (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in preventive maintenance to ensure machinery runs smoothly and efficiently (Mandatory skill).
• Competence in PLC programming to automate plant processes and enhance productivity.
• Understanding of process control systems to maintain optimal production conditions and safety standards.
• Awareness of OSHA safety regulations to promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance.
• Experience in shift scheduling to maintain continuous plant operations and reduce downtime.
• Familiarity with quality assurance procedures to ensure product quality meets company and industry standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant operations using SCADA systems to ensure smooth production processes.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to enhance equipment performance and extend operational life.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute production schedules efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA safety regulations and report any safety hazards or incidents.
• Ensure product quality by following and enforcing strict quality assurance procedures during production.
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to optimize plant operations.
• Work in shifts to ensure the plant operates 24/7, addressing any challenges that may arise during non-standard hours.
