Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Electrician to join our team at SOLAR CHEMFERTS PVT LTD, located in Ambernath. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of work experience and be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems in a manufacturing setting. As an electrician, you will ensure the safety and efficiency of our operations while working in compliance with relevant standards and codes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in electrical wiring and connections, ensuring all installations meet safety standards (Mandatory skill).
• In-depth understanding of electrical safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure safe working conditions (Mandatory skill).
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently, reducing downtime and maintaining operations (Mandatory skill).
• Capability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC) and its application in industrial electrical systems.
• Experience operating testing equipment such as multimeters to examine and verify electrical systems.
• Competence in upgrading circuit breaker panels to enhance safety and performance of electrical systems.
• Skilled in the installation and maintenance of lighting systems, ensuring proper illumination and energy efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components used in our manufacturing processes to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes and regulations during installation and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to resolve operational problems and improve efficiency and safety.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Consistently apply electrical safety practices and standards to protect self and coworkers from injuries.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent any potential issues and prolong system life.
• Prepare and maintain records detailing inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities performed on equipment.
