Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and well-networked leader to serve as Head – Industry Engagement & Internship Placements. This role is critical in establishing and strengthening corporate partnerships to secure high-impact internships for Firebird Learning Associates in MSMEs, MNCs, and large family-owned enterprises across Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should possess strong industry relationships, corporate networking expertise, and a proven ability to secure internships with a reasonable stipend for students
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and implement a strategic industry engagement plan to establish long-term corporate partnerships.
-Position Firebird Learning Associates as valuable contributors to businesses and ensure structured internships.
-Ensure students are placed in internships that provide meaningful learning experiences along with a reasonable stipend.
-Conduct 360-degree student performance appraisals, collaborating with company mentors and faculty members.
-Lead learning & development initiatives to enhance students' professional readiness.
-Organize corporate networking events, industry visits, and guest lectures to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
-Work closely with the Placement & Career Development Cell to align internship experiences with students’ career aspirations.
-Maintain regular engagement with senior industry leaders to create new internship opportunities and strengthen existing collaborations.
Candidate Profile
-MBA required.
-10+ years of experience in corporate relations, talent development, or internship placements.
-Extensive industry network in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and beyond.
-Strong marketing and negotiation skills to onboard companies for student internships.
-Experience in learning & development, talent engagement, and student mentorship.
-Expertise in structured performance evaluation methods for student internships.
-Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
