1.           Develop, implement, and monitor the existing fundraising strategy.

-      Oversee the successful implementation of the   current fundraising strategy that includes yearly targets to meet the costs of the current and future programs;

-      Approach and raise funds from individuals, companies and trusts and foundations within India;

-      Ensure that fundraising activities are in line with the organization’s plan

-      Ensure that communication materials are in consistent style that reflect the values of the organization;

-      Engage heads of other departments and central offices regarding fundraising initiatives.

-      Raise awareness of the organization and its work at state and national levels;

-      Monitor income and expenditure against budgets and the targets.

2.           Implement fundraising initiatives to raise resources from individuals, companies, trusts and foundations

-      Develop creative and appropriate fundraising activities in line with the overall strategy to tap funds from identified sources;

3.   Build and enhance a constituency of well-wishers and supporters

-      Monitor, manage and update databases to record donor contact and preference information;

-      Ensure timely, appropriate and quality communication to all donors;

-      Monitor and evaluate donor communications on a regular basis;
