The Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and assembling steel components according to project

specifications and requirements. This role requires expertise in steel fabrication techniques, a

strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to understand

fabrication requirements.

 Select appropriate materials, tools, and equipment necessary for fabrication.

 Cut, shape, and weld metal components using various fabrication techniques, such as

cutting torches, plasma cutters, and welding machines.

 Utilize fabrication machinery and tools, including shears, brakes, rollers, and drills, to shape

and form steel materials.

 Ensure accuracy and precision during the fabrication process to meet project specifications

and quality standards.

 Conduct quality control checks to verify that fabricated components meet required

tolerances and specifications.

 Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely completion of assigned projects.

 Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and consumables essential for

fabrication.

 Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe

working environment.

 Communicate and coordinate with supervisors and team members regarding project

progress, challenges, and potential solutions.

 Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity within

the fabrication department.
