Cost Estimator - Technical Proposal (Mechanical Engineering ) / Commercial Proposal (BCOM)
Job description:
Cost Estimator - Technical Proposal (Mechanical Engineering Degree)
Mechanical Engineering degree from recognized university (preferred mechatronics Engineering degree).
5 to 6 years of O&M experience required working in contracting department in which 3 years of KSA experience is a must.
KSA light vehicle driver’s license required.
Study contracts coming from various clients.
Assist in reviewing the contract documents prior to tendering.
Making site visit and attend pre-bid meetings for each tender.
Coordinate with HR & Purchasing department to have the best prices
Preparing complete technical file.
Preparing cost estimation for the tenders.
Follow up Subcontractor's Performance Bonds and Tender Bonds
Maintain a repository of all contract documentation.
Assist the Purchasing Department and Site Project Manager in contractual matters related to procurement / supply contract and agreements.
Assist in reviewing the contract documents prior to tendering.
Reviews and clarifies drawings.
Coordinate Project Close-Out Procedures including manuals, warranties, and As-built drawings.
Maintain contract database and order tracking system for all contracts executed.
Review and update standard contract templates while identifying terms and clauses in agreements that represent compliance risks.
Evaluate and review contracts on continuing basis to ensure financial and functional requirements are met.
Cost Estimator – Commercial Proposal (BCOM)
BCOM degree from recognized university (BBA also acceptable).
5 to 6 years of O&M experience required working in contracting department in which 3 years of KSA experience is a must.
KSA light vehicle driver’s license required.
