REQUIRED FOR SAUDI ARABIA FOR AN AVIATION FACILITY MAINTENANCE COMPANY

AIRFIELD LIGHTING SYSTEM & NAVIGATION AIDS GROUP LEADER

QUALIFICATIONS:

1   Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in performing airfield lighting and navigational aid maintenance services with sufficient documentation satisfactory to SAUDI ARAMCO as proof of such experience.

2   Have at least a Bachelor of Engineering degree.

3   Be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English.

PRINCIPAL TASKS:

The principle tasks of the Airfield Lighting System & Navigational Aids Group Leader shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

1   Supervising and leading all activities associated with Preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance and repairs activities for all Airfield Lighting Systems.

2   Focal point for any communication with the Company Representative.

AIRFIELD LIGHTING SYSTEM & NAVIGATIONAL AIDS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

QUALIFICATIONS:

1   Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience with sufficient documentation satisfactory to SAUDI ARAMCO in performing airfield lighting or navigational aid maintenance services with experience in maintaining and servicing precision approach path indicator lights; runway edge and taxiway lights; approach lights; threshold lights and Constant Current Regulators (CCRs), relays controls and monitor control.

2   Have at least a college or diploma degree in electrical or electronic fields, or instrument field, or communication field.

3   Be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English.

2.2      PRINCIPAL TASKS:

The principle tasks of the Airfield Lighting Systems (ALIS) & Navigational Aids Maintenance Technician shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

1   Visually check mechanical parts for cleanliness, burned wires or connections, cracked insulators, lamps or filters and any other part of the ALIS as required by the manufacturer’s or Saudi Aramco’s.

2   Clean lamps and filters.

3   Check for lights damage by site vehicles, etc.

4   Check operation of lights controls.

5   General check of ILS shelter.

6   Visual check to ILS antennas.

7   Visual check to ILS display for any alarm.
