Urgent Requirement: SAP Ariba Functional Consultant – P2P & AP Automation

Location: Chennai (On-site) | Duration: 6 months (extendable based on performance & business needs)

Working Hours: Aligned with European time zone

We’re looking for a seasoned SAP Ariba Functional Consultant to join a high-impact project with a global logistics company, executed in collaboration with a leading consulting firm.

Project Objective:

Implementation of an advanced AP Invoice Management Tool, ensuring automation and seamless system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead P2P process design and implementation, integrating SAP ECC, Ariba, and Medius.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and procurement teams to align system capabilities with business goals.
• Develop global P2P frameworks for multiple geographies, especially across Europe.
• Manage external vendors and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
• Drive automation initiatives across the P2P cycle.
• Act as a functional SME in Ariba and P2P within the logistics/shipping domain.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for scalability and efficiency.

Desired Skills & Experience:

10–12 years of functional experience in SAP Ariba, SAP ECC, and AP/P2P automation.

Experience in solution design, system integration, and automation tools (Medius preferred).

Strong domain knowledge in logistics or shipping.

Effective communication and stakeholder management in a global, multi-vendor environment.

Techno-functional ability to translate business needs into system functionality.
