Position Title: Maintenance - Assist. Manager

Location: Aroor

Reporting: Maintenance Head

Qualification: B.E./Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical

Experience: BE-12yrs./Diploma-16yrs.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Plant Maintenance:
  • Help to Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facilities.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and resources effectively to minimize downtime and ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze equipment performance and reliability, optimizing maintenance practices.
  • Establish spare parts inventory and maintenance schedules to address potential breakdowns proactively.
  • To Guide/Supervise/Attend Maintenance activity like-
  • Mechanical maintenance- Cylinders, bearings, pneumatic, Hydraulic, Gears, etc.
  • Electrical- PLC, VFD, Sensors, control panel, electrical wiring, electrical spares, etc.
  • Civil- Raw material details, slab, PCC, Mixture of material, etc.
  • System Technical- Break down, PM, MTTR/MTBF, predictive, CBM/TBM, etc.
  • Admin Technical- Purchase management, stores management, Inventory management, Project management, ERP management (SAP)
  1. Equipment Reliability and Compliance:
  • Assess the reliability and performance of critical manufacturing equipment and implement strategies to improve their efficiency.
  • Work closely with other Dept. teams to ensure equipment compliance with cGMP and safety regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for technology upgrades and improvements to optimize plant operations and compliance.
  1. Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure that the plant design, equipment, and maintenance practices comply with all relevant industry regulations and standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the organization.
  • Help to Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to maintain a safe work environment.
  1. Team Leadership and Development:
  • Build and lead a competent team of engineering, design, and maintenance professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment, encouraging professional development and continuous learning.
  • Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
