Job Overview

Join Shri Consultancy Services as a Junior Design Engineer located in Roorkee for a full-time position. This role involves utilizing design skills and expertise in AutoCAD, enhancing product quality through skillful engineering practices, and contributing to the execution of diverse projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is crucial for generating precise architectural and engineering designs. (Mandatory skill)
• Strong command over Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to efficiently create, modify, and optimize designs.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to predict how products react to real-world forces and elements.
• Skills in SolidWorks for modeling, simulating, and analyzing designs with a high level of accuracy and detail.
• Familiarity with Creo to create and manipulate sophisticated engineering models.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to articulate permissible limits and improve product quality.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to manage product information efficiently across its lifecycle.
• Adept at Rapid Prototyping techniques to quickly develop prototypes and test design concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, promoting innovative solutions in design challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities

1.Should be well versed with Solid edge (HT10 version or equivalent)

2.Should be well versed with AUTOCAD

3.Experience min 3 to 4 years , preferred from Heavy fabrication industry or sheet metal industry or mechanical equipment manufacturing industry and willing to relocate if from outside.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design projects within given timelines.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other CAD tools to create detailed designs and technical drawings.
• Conduct feasibility studies and collect design specifications to ensure project goals are achievable and met.
• Engage in continuous technical improvement practices to enhance design efficiency and product quality.
• Draft and prepare layouts, models, and drawings using engineering data and support other engineers accordingly.
• Participate in design review meetings, providing feedback and improvements to optimize design processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while developing engineering drawings and designs.
• Assist in prototyping activities and assessments while using rapid prototyping techniques and analysis tools.
