Software Test Engineer

Job Description

•       Understand the business need and give independent inputs on the testing strategy / test planning.

•       Ability to understand functional/technical specifications and analyze data and server logs

•       Define test strategies for assigned applications with minimal guidance from the test manager. Estimate daily testing tasks for assigned projects with guidance from the test manager.

•       Analyze and understand requirements should be able to create high level scenarios.

•       Create end to end test scripts. Test application by applying different testing techniques. Log defects for all/ any of usability, UI, functionalional and database issues.

•       Good understanding of SDLC,STLC and defect life cycle and test processes.

•       Good in test reporting. Good in manual and Automation testing Good working knowledge of automation tool, preferably Java selenium, PostMan, Jmeter

•       Performance load and API testing using JMeter

•       Looking for candidates with good experience in BDD frameworks 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Web and mobile application testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working across multiple teams in a deadline-driven environment
• Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
