Job Description:

 Data Scientist

We are looking for a candidate with 6+ years of experience as a DATA ENGINEER, with education (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 

They should also have the following abilities:

Required

1. Relevant Experience (RDBMS, Big Data, NoSQL): 6+ years

2. 4+ years of experience and knowledge about Spark/Hadoop/Hive Architecture and its components.

3. 1+ years of Power BI experience

4. Should be strong in all DDL/DML statements/Queries and SQL Concepts

.5. Should be strong in Unix shell programming to perform any automation that project needs

.6. Rock star SQL & Python/R/Scala skills.

Preferred

1. Experience in Graph database is a plus

.2. Proven ability to work with varied data infrastructures – including relational databases, column stores, NoSQL databases, and file-based storage solutions

.3. Ability to set up containerized services using e.g. Harmony, Kubernetes and Docker

.4. Exposure to machine learning or machine learning pipelines is a plus
