key Responsibilities

1. Inspection & Quality Checks

• Assist in inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for defects.
• Conduct basic quality checks as per the company’s QC standards.
• Ensure that products meet customer specifications and internal quality benchmarks.

2. Testing & Reporting

• Perform quality tests such as color consistency, print clarity, and paper thickness measurements.
• Maintain daily QC records and report deviations or defects to the QC Supervisor.
• Support in analyzing defects and finding root causes with the QC team.

3. Process Compliance

• Learn and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with company quality policies and ISO standards (if applicable).
• Participate in internal audits and help in corrective action implementation.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with the production team to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to report machine-related quality issues.
• Support in customer complaint resolution by providing quality data.

5. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain proper records of inspections and quality reports.
• Assist in updating quality-related data in ERP/software (if applicable).

Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in Printing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• ITI in Printing or Quality Control is also acceptable.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of quality control procedures.
• Understanding of printing materials and defects (preferred).
• Good observation skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, etc.).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
